Connecticut state law allows you  access to physical therapy services without a referral from a physician. In October 2006, the Connecticut state legislature passed a law called "Direct Access" allowing patients to receive physical therapy services without a physician referral.     What this means for you?  a.) faster access to the services you need without the wait,  b.) less cost  c.) faster recovery time, and d.) the ability to chose where you go for physical therapy
